With regrets to American Idol finalists Blake Lewis and Jordin Sparks, we've seen the big winner of American Idol 6, and it is none other than UCLA Bruin defensive tackle Jerzy Siewierski.
The Bruin sophomore had limited playing time in 2006--netting but one tackle assist against Oregon according to his official bio, but he will now be known as American Idol's Sanjaya's Bruin idol.
Wizard of Odds reports that the coiffure-challenged Idol contestant was spotted last Friday at Venice Beach with a cadre of UCLA cheerleaders wearing Siewierski's #90 jersey--which isn't exactly available at the Buin bookstore. Oh, and there's video if you can stand to see so much powder blue.
