Kelly Clarkson says that her alleged feud with Clive Davis is being exaggerated by the American media. The former American Idol winner told AP Television news in an interview that the media was overblowing the whole situation with RCA and that Davis does not loathe her upcoming CD.
“This record (My December) is no different from my other records. Every record I’ve come out with, people have not liked,” she explained.
“My whole goal is not just to sell millions of records,” Clarkson continued. “My whole goal is to have people like my music, come out to shows. That’s basically it. I’m pretty low-key.”
My December is slated to be released by RCA on July 24. Her 2004 album Breakaway has sold over six million copies to date.
