American Idol 6 - Lakisha Jones was eliminated last night. If you had told viewers of American Idol about twelve weeks ago that LaKisha would "only" make it to the final four, most would have scoffed, suggesting that she would at least be in the finals.

Yet as the weeks rolled by, the idea of LaKisha leaving earlier than originally expected didn't sound surprising after all.

LaKisha Jones started to fade shortly after she was in the final 12. At one point she was one of the front runners to win the competition. However, she never did live up to expectations.

Poor song choices and a generous amount of criticism from the judges contributed to her downfall. But what happened along the way? Why did LaKisha lose?
