Love him or hate him, Sanjaya Malakar will be "hair" at the Arena at Harbor Yard in Bridgeport on Sept. 20 as part of the "American Idols Live!" tour.
For those who don't know Sanjaya, he was the talk of television in this season's early stages for his questionable singing talent and his even more dubious hairstyles.
Before reaching Bridgeport, the "American Idols Live!" concert tour will stop at the Hartford Civic Center on Aug. 27.
Also taking part in the tour will be the other nine finalists that reached the Fox show's Top 10: Blake Lewis, Chris Sligh, Chris Richardson, Gina Glocksen, Haley Scarnato, Jordin Sparks, LaKisha Jones, Melinda Doolittle and Phil Stacey.
Sparks, Lewis and Doolittle are the three remaining contestants on this season's "American Idol," and the trio will be whittled down to two Wednesday night (8 p.m., Ch. 5, 61).
The winner will be selected on May 23.
Tickets for both shows are $39.50, $52.50 and $72.50 and go on sale Saturday at 10 a.m. at the Arena at Harbor Yard box office, through all Ticketmaster outlets or by phone at 368-1000 (Bridgeport) and 624-0033 (New Haven). n 'DELIRIUM' CANCELED: Cirque du Soleil's "Delirium" will not be coming to the Arena at Harbor Yard July 5 and 6 because of scheduling conflicts. Refunds are available at the point of purchase.
