American Idol Headquarters

May 9, 2007

I hope you all remember Blake's other performances. Because last night was not the best we've seen out of him. It's just that when you put him next to three power-house singers, it's more obvious that he doesn't have the best voice. He is - by far - the most unique and I think incredibly marketable and adorable. Just not the best singer.

For me, Melinda's performances were just kinda "so what?" Not impressed. She's really boring me now. I need some pizazz...some funk. She may have the best voice, but she needs to sell me more...

Loved LaKisha. Looked great, sounded great. No matter what the bandwagon judges said. Simon's the only one who has his own opinion. Randy and Paula always agree with one another - they just regurgitate eachother's comments. It's getting old.

For the first time, I think Jordin can win this thing. She was fantastic - a far cry from what we saw from her last week, when I thought she was heading home.

I think Simon was right - Blake (tho I am very mad about this possibility) and LaKisha may be in the danger zone...
